Hayato Kimura received his B.E. and Master of Information and Telecommunication Engineering degrees from Tokai University in 2019 and 2021, respectively. From 2021 to 2025, he worked at LINE Corporation (currently LY Corporation).

Since 2025, he has been a researcher at the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology, Japan.

His current research interests include cryptography, information security, system security, and cryptographic protocol. He received the IWSEC 2017 Best Poster Award in 2017, JIP Specially Selected Paper 2023. He is a member of IPSJ and IACR.
