LIHUA WANG

Lihua Wang received a Ph.D. in Engineering at the Graduate School of Information Systems, University of Tsukuba, in 2006.

She joined the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in 2006 for the first time, worked as an associate professor at Kobe University in 2018, and returned to NICT in 2019. She is currently a senior researcher at the Security Fundamentals Laboratory, Cybersecurity Research Institute, NICT. She engaged in research on cryptography and its applications in privacy-preserving machine learning. Related results have been patented (four patents) and published in journals and international conferences (50 papers). In addition, she has obtained several external competitive funds, including KAKENHI, and as a principal investigator, has conducted three projects of JSPS KAKENHI Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C).
