MIYAKO OHKUBO
Miyako Ohkubo received her Ph.D. in the Faculty of Science and Engineering from Chuo University in March 2004.
She joined the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (NTT) in April 1997.
She moved to the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in April 2010.
She is a senior researcher in Security Fundamentals Laboratory, Cybersecurity Research Institute, NICT.
She was a visiting researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) between 2012 and 2013.
She received the SCIS Best Paper Award in the 2000 Symposium on Cryptography and Information Security (SCIS 2000), the Ichimura Prize in Science for Excellent Achievement (48th) in April 2016, and the SCIS Innovation Paper Award in the 2018 Symposium on cryptography and Information Security (SCIS 2018).
Her research interests include cryptography, cryptographic protocols, and applications.
