About Security Fundamentals Laboratory
The Security Fundamentals Laboratory conducts research and development of cryptography, authentication, and privacy-preserving technologies.
We also evaluate the security of currently used cryptography as well as the security of emerging ones including post-quantum cryptography to promote proper implementation and standardization for secure information systems.

We conduct research and development of secure data utilization technologies that ensure security and privacy.

We are conducting research, development, and security evaluation of new cryptographic techniques for the era of quantum computer cryptography, such as post-quantum cryptography, as well as cryptographic technologies that are currently widely used.
