security funda-mentals laboratory
A leading R&D hub on cryptography for secure information systems
About Security Fundamentals Laboratory
The Security Fundamentals Laboratory conducts research and development of cryptography, authentication, and privacy-preserving technologies.
We also evaluate the security of currently used cryptography as well as the security of emerging ones including post-quantum cryptography to promote proper implementation and standardization for secure information systems.
Secure Data Utilization Team
We conduct research and development of secure data utilization technologies that ensure security and privacy.
Security Evaluation Team
We are conducting research, development, and security evaluation of new cryptographic techniques for the era of quantum computer cryptography, such as post-quantum cryptography, as well as cryptographic technologies that are currently widely used.
Laboratory Operations Team
As a partner to researchers, we perform a wide range of tasks such as managing the work environment and facilities, public relations, and procurement.
